Cold Brew Coffee Goes Nitro

At the 2017 National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, major buzz was going around about nitro taps, which is another avenue to explore in the ever-growing trend of cold brew coffee. Through our own market research, we believe nitro tapped coffee is on the up and up, and Flavorchem is ready!

Nitro (nitrogen) is a type of gas used in the carbonation process. Once a beverage is introduced to nitrogen, it is released through a pressurized valve with tiny holes. As high pressure forces the beverage past a disc, it creates a creamy stout-like effect which has a smooth, clean profile—a perfect process for serving cold brew coffee.

Flavorchem’s cold brew coffee extracts can be used in many applications. For a sample or to learn more, please contact your sales representative or email us at info@flavorchem.com.
