At the 2017 National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, major buzz was going around about nitro taps, which is another avenue to explore in the ever-growing trend of cold brew coffee. Through our own market research, we believe nitro tapped coffee is on the up and up, and Flavorchem is ready!
Nitro (nitrogen) is a type of gas used in the carbonation process. Once a beverage is introduced to nitrogen, it is released through a pressurized valve with tiny holes. As high pressure forces the beverage past a disc, it creates a creamy stout-like effect which has a smooth, clean profile—a perfect process for serving cold brew coffee.
Flavorchem’s cold brew coffee extracts can be used in many applications. For a sample or to learn more, please contact your sales representative or email us at [email protected].
